Viewstar
ICS provides a future-oriented SCADA platform
using standard and state-of-the-art computer and communication
technology. A a client-server-based system running on UNIX,
Windows and Linux operating systems, Viewstar
ICS can be scaled from small-sized systems to
nearly unlimited plant or network management systems with 100,000s
of process data. Redundant server configurations and distributed
servers provide highly reliable and secure operation.

| Communication |
Viewstar
ICS supports a wide range of telemetry and process
communication protocols (like OPC, IEC 870-5, DNP3, Modbus etc.)
via Ethernet, telephone or fixed line, radio or satellite. As
a result, it can be used with nearly all kinds of RTU and PLC
stations.

| Software |
Today SCADA systems are not only
used for monitoring and control, they also have to integrate
the optimization of process operation and business. To meet
these challenges, Viewstar ICS
provides sophisticated software applications for simulation,
leak detection and location, batch tracking and scheduling,
tank farm management, and trade management software.
Using standard databases for storing historical process and
operational data Viewstar ICS gives access to these data for
